Our 2017 Summer School will be at the University of Illinois – Chicago from July 26-28. On site housing in either single or double bed rooms is available in the university’s dorm’s and can be reserved when you register (see registration link above)–please register as early as possible to be guaranteed access to the housing. On site check in will open at 12:30 on Wednesday, July 26.
We will send out more detailed information in advance of the event–including about meal options, parking, and much more–by E-mail to those who register. Please refer to the logistics document we E-mailed out for any questions not addressed here.
Location and Arrival
Check in for the school will open on site at 12:30 Wednesday afternoon (July 26). The check in/registration table, along with all of our scheduled content outside of meal times, will be on the 6th floor of the Student Center East building at University of Illinois Chicago. The rooms we’ll be using are SCE 603, 605, and 613. The address is 750 S Halsted St, Chicago Il, 60607. You can any remaining balance on your registration, housing, or other costs at the time you check in, by cash or check.
The campus is serviced by the Blue Line El Train, which also services O’Hare International Airport. Your stop is UIC-Halsted. Use ONLY the Halsted exit on the platform and turn right after ascending a long ramp. Walk a few blocks to Student Center East, 750 South Halsted, just next to the Jane Addams Hull House Museum.
