The second round of the presidential election avoided the worst by barring the road to the far right. However, this is not support for Macron’s record and his proposals. All the more, since many voters abstained, thus showing their rejection of a political system in deep crisis.
Very rapidly, the need will arise for united mobilizations against the social regressions that Macron is preparing. And first of all, the counter-reform of pensions, which aims to make people work until they are 65!
To assist these mobilizations, it is necessary to have support from the largest number of the strongest possible left and ecologist deputies in the National Assembly, following the June elections. The results of the first round of the presidential election, with the very high number of votes won by Jean-Luc Mélenchon, show that it is possible to obtain a majority of deputies of our camp. In addition to the indispensable national accords, the meeting of as many assemblies of citizens as possible, linked to the mobilizations of local groups, can amplify the dynamic.
