Join us for our second online introductory course in our education series. Let us know what you are interested in learning about in future sessions.

We will be hosting our next course on the topic of Socialist Feminism for new members and those interested in joining or learning more about Solidarity.

  • How does Solidarity put our socialist-feminist political ideas into practice?
  • What do we mean by the “self-organization” of women?
  • What difference does our socialist-feminist perspective make for how our organization functions?
  • After a brief introduction about socialist-feminism as a political project we will explore these questions through a history of three important decisions the organization has debated and made:
    • adoption of a feminist process document,
    • establishment of the gender violence commission and
    • commitment to including trans women in the women’s caucus.
  • We have some suggested readings for those that are interested
